Q. How long does it take from start to finish before I can be in my new home?
A. Generally it takes 12 to 14 weeks once a decision is made and the application is sent to a lender.

Q. What type of warranties come with my home?
A. Your home will have a 10 year structural warranty. There are also other warranties such as a 25 year or 30 year prorated roof shingle, lifetime vinyl siding, etc. The warranty and service program are covered with you by our service manager prior to delivering your home.

Q. Do I have to find a lender for my mortgage or is this something you can do?
A. You are welcome to select your own lender. However we can arrange financing for you if that is your choice.

Q. What is the difference between your homes and those that are stick built?
A. Our Redman System Built Homes are built entirely indoors in a controlled climate. Stick built homes are subject to all kinds of weather including rain, snow and sun which can damage floors and other lumber. Our homes reduce the time it takes to complete the project, is lower in cost because of reduced waste and the volume discounts on huge orders of building materials. Generally they are stronger and more durable (see FEMA report following hurricane Andrew www.fema.com ). As well as more energy efficient.

Q. Do your homes come with appliances?
A. Our homes do come with some appliances standard. However there are several choices of GE appliances including the ultimate kitchen which features the GE stainless steel profile series.

Q. Do I have a choice of carpet and flooring?
A. We do offer choices of carpets, vinyl flooring, siding, shutters, roof shingles, counter tops and ceramic tile from a selection provided by the manufacturer.

Q. If I want some upgrades to my new home, are they available?
A. Yes there are a lot of nice features available for you new home beyond what is standard. Fireplaces, patio door, atrium door, whirlpool jets, and more. The home with standard features is an excellent value for your investment.

Q. Do you have a good service department?
A. Yes our dedicated service department is here to service you. We are a team. We always have the best interests of you as a new home owner in mind.

Q. What does the word “Turnkey” mean?
A. The word “Turnkey” means we at North Country Homes will do your entire project, from permits to completion then we will hand you the keys to your new home. Enjoy!
